Bomba Estereo Marinates Technotronic’s “Pump Up the Jam” in Their Signature Latin Flavors

In the newest track from Levi’s Pioneer Sessions, Colombian electro-pop band, Bomba Estereo, helmed by multi-instrumentalist Simón Mejía and singer Liliana Saumet, lend their signature Latin-infused electro-pop to the 1989 club-ready classic Pump Up the Jam by Technotronic.

Twenty-one years after it’s initial release, Bomba Estereo’s bi-lingual rendition of Pump Up the Jam, re-dubbed Ponte Bomb, stays true to the original’s attitude and energy while injecting the band’s distinct hybrid of Colombian Cumbia rhythms to the mix.

The Bomba Estereo cover is available to download for FREE directly from Levi’s Pioneer Sessions HERE, and you can stream the song plus view the music video for the original incarnation below.
