Stream LCD Soundsystem’s Final Show Live from Madison Square Garden, Saturday

After 3 albums and 9 years, LCD Soundsystem are headed for retirement; but the band’s not sulking quietly away into the sunset.  New Jersey native, James Murphy, and his crew are going out with a bang, selling out NYC’s Madison Square Garden in a matter of minutes.  Unfortunately, scalpers snapped up countless tickets for the show before fans could get their hands on them; so to appease die-hards, and drive down scalped ticket prices, the band added a 4-night run of gigs this week at Terminal 5, leading up to the big show, Saturday, April 2nd.

For the MSG finale, the band promises a nearly three hour-long concert, with many surprises and special guests planned.  If you didn’t secure your spot at the Garden, or you’re a fan from the rest of the U.S. of A, check out the live concert webcast, hosted by Pitchfork.com in conjunction with Smashbox.

The final LCD Soundsystem performance goes down in the history books on Saturday, April 2nd at 9PM EST / 6 PM PST.  It is a one-time-only broadcast, and will not be replayed.  Check out the live LCD Soundsystem MSG webcast, HERE.
