The Game of Chess Gets a Raucous Sleigh Bells-Style Makeover in the Video for “Riot Rhythm”

Playing chess has never been this extreme.  Sleigh Bell’s clip for Riot Rhythm features a Karate Kid-like training montage and stars the young red-headed victim of M.I.A.’s controversial Born Free video as the pupil.  Check out the video for Riot Rhythm, directed by Bo Mirosseni, below.

Sleigh Bells Add Additional So Cal Shows, L.A.’s El Rey Tickets On Sale TOMORROW

Sleigh Bells decided a one-night stand wasn’t nearly enough.  The Brooklyn-based duo, who were scheduled to bring their eardrum shredding aural assault to the Hollywood Bowl in October, are staying for breakfast.

In addition to their previously scheduled opening slot for LCD Soundsystem with Hot Chip at the Hollywood Bowl, Friday, October 15th, the pop-noise renegades have added two additional So Cal dates.  Sleigh Bells will headline shows at Costa Mesa’s Detroit Bar on Tuesday, October 19th, and the just announced El Rey Theatre gig in Los Angeles on Wednesday, October 20th.
