In case you missed it, and most people did, the much-lauded Los Angeles-based breakout band The Deadly Syndrome dropped their sophomore effort Nolens Volens (Latin for “whether willingly or unwillingly”) three years after their debut, The Ortolan. The new album, recorded in the band’s home studio, is a drastic departure from their debut.
